Mon – Dana Cup Opening Ceremony at the Hjørring.Nord Energi Arena at 7:30 pm. This includes a parade and the Opening Ceremonies hosted by the Mayor of Hjørring. Following opening ceremonies, you’ll have free time to explore or shop in Hjørring.

More than 100 nations over the years, have taken part in the fantastic international atmosphere of the Dana Cup. The tournament is a fantastic sporting challenge mixed with a brilliant cultural experience. Based in one of the oldest towns in Denmark, Hjorring is a beautiful area located near the gorgeous Danish coast.

The Dana Cup is Denmark’s largest sporting event; it is the third largest youth tournament in the world. In 2018, it will host the 37th annual tournament. It is also the world’s most international youth soccer tournament With 90% of foreign teams. The Dana Cup has become very popular since they started, as back in 1992 only 222 teams participated and now they welcome over 1100 each summer.
